More than just another photographer
About Me
I was born and raised here in the beautiful state of WA. I can't imagine living anywhere else. "The mountain is out" are my favorite kind of days. I LOVE hiking/being outdoors, and anything adventurous. I am a mom of 4 (3 girls 1 boy) and am a soon to be bonus mom to a sweet little girl. Our fur babies include the most loyal German Shepard named Maverick, and a very snobby, but rather needy cat, named Zoey. Tacos and margaritas are always a good idea, people that respond to my sarcasm with sarcasm are my favorite, and I truly believe travel is the only thing you buy that makes you richer. Shortly after high schooI I purchased my first "real" camera and fell in love. I took pictures of EVERYTHING! Food, my kids, out hiking, random things I thought looked cool. After my first engagement session and elopement, I knew this was it! I had no idea people did this...run off to a mountain (or wherever) and get married! Of course I love a big wedding, but my outdoorsy, hiking, mountain climbing (2015 Rainier summit), adventure seeking heart felt like it had found home when I realized I could combine the 2 things that I loved so much, and make it my JOB! It seriously fills my heart with so much joy!
Story Teller
My hope and goal is to build a long lasting friendship with each and every one of my clients. I wasn't kidding when I said we are now BFFs! Lucky you! ;) In all seriousness, I want to get to know you. The real you! I want to know everything about your story, so I can capture those moments, the real authentic ones. The ones that give you all the feels when you look back on them years later. I will never pose you, but rather, direct you. If you thought you would just come and stand in front of the camera and smile, you were wrong. Lol! I want you to feel like you're just hanging out with one of your friends or on a date and I am tagging along. I may have you run jump up on a log, or lay down and snuggle in a field. I might tell you to kick off your shoes and chase the waves, who knows! I do know though that in doing so, the real you starts to come out. You start to interact like you naturally would with each other, and THAT is where the magic is! It's those tiny micro-expressions. It's the way he looks at you like he's the luckiest man alive, or the way you drape your arms around his neck and sigh. That's what I live for. The photos that bring me to tears in post production cause I can just feel the love oozing out of them! I just ask that you bring your true authentic self and trust me.
